www.BPTrends.com is currently undertaking its bi-annual survey of the BPM market, and I’d like to urge everyone who hasn’t already taken it to take a few minutes and complete it. It located here:

As in the past, we ask a wide range of questions to try to understand the current interest in business process change. Early next year, once we’ve had time to analyze the answers, will publish a free report that will let everyone know about our findings. This is probably the best source of information available on trends in process work – provided a large number of practitioners take the time to participate in the survey. Please take a few minutes to respond, so that everyone can benefit from your knowledge.
The survey hasn’t gotten that many responses yet, but I can already tell that we are attracting a mixed group of respondents. 20% of our early respondents report that their organizations are making a major strategic commitment to process change, while another 26% report their organization is involved with a major process change project. On the other hand.37% report that their organizations have only made an initial commitment, and another 10% report they are simply exploring opportunities. As I say, that’s quite a range. Participants over the course of the next week or so will undoubtedly continue to shape our results. Please join them.
