Diego G. Passadore is a seasoned IT executive, with over 30 years of experience working in six Latin American countries. He has been an International Consultant for the World Bank, a consultant for national and international projects at IDBank, and Technical Advisor at Central Bank of Uruguay, as well as IT Consulting Director at a large-scale banking institution. At present, he is the CEO of the management & systems consulting firm Lighthouse. Passadore has lectured at multiple conferences since 1985, at seminars and universities, and he is the author of articles in several specialized magazines in Europe, the U.S. and Uruguay. He is a graduate of Computer Science Engineering from the University of the Republic of Uruguay, and he has also attended several post-graduate courses, including BAI Graduate School of Bank Operations and Technology of the Bank Administration Institute at Vanderbilt University. He is an active member of the Uruguayan Engineers Association since 1981, and he currently resides in the city of Montevideo. His interests include BPM, business rule systems, IT management & strategy, and the business value of IT initiatives.
