I am currently enjoying a week at the Building Business Capability conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. The conference is the largest I have attended in quite awhile, and there is a lot of energy. The show combines people from the business rules community, the BPM community and the Business Analyst community and the cross fertilization is enjoyable. More to the point, unlike some events in the recent past, people are talking about spending money on new projects and that has a lot of consultants and vendors excited. I'll try to revisit this event in the next couple of weeks and report on some of the highlights, but right now I need to rush off for today's presentations and another round of meeting people who are doing exciting things.
They have announced that next years BB will be in Las Vegas (Caesars Palace) on Nov 2-6.
