Christian W. Günther obtained his PhD under supervision of Prof. Wil van der Aalst and is co-founder of the process mining software company Fluxicon. In his PhD work he was the first to make process mining possible for also complex and heterogeneous processes, paving the way for real-life applications of process mining.
